Life is better with a furry friend. Come meet our brood
We have hundreds of animals waiting eagerly to find their forever homes. Many of them have been rescued from the streets and each of them is deserving of a loving, caring family they can call their own.
It’s a lot easier to adopt than you think. We promise. And we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Adoption is a commitment
Adopting an animal is not a decision to take lightly. Cats and dogs can live as long as 15 years.
We want to ensure that our animals go to people who will provide them with a clean, safe, family environment, will feed them properly, take care of them when they are sick, and will – above all – love them long time.
Animals you can adopt

Marble is a 3 months old black and white male puppy, found on Aksa beach. He has an intense wound on his neck which needs immediate surgery and treatment for him to survive this tough ordeal. We are raising Rs. 18000 for his cause. Please help this poor baby get better soon and live a wholesome, healthy life again.

Abby & Gabby
Abby and Gabby, two adorable 2-month-old puppies, were rescued from Auris Serenity, Malad West. They are in urgent need for treatment for maggot wounds. Your generous donation of Rs. 8000 will ensure they receive the medical care they deserve.

Sandy urgently seeks your support for treatment as he battles horrible maggot infection wounds requiring immediate attention. Your contribution can play a vital role in his healing journey.
Roxie
Roxie was rescued in collaboration with the Bombay Animal Rights (BAR) team. She was previously infected with a vaginal infection and is currently battling a tumour affecting her eyes and head region. Please donate to give her a life without suffering and pain.
Krish
Suffering from a swollen throat and eye area, Krish was brought to us by a truly kind soul. Krish is admitted at our hospital in Malad for treatment and needs your help for recovery. Please donate to help him get back to a normal life.
Choosing the right pet
Before you decide to adopt, we recommend you consider a few factors:
- Do you have lots of time to entertain an energetic animal or are you looking for an older, calmer pet?
- Do you have an outdoor space that your pet can explore safely? Or would you prefer an animal that’s comfortable spending time indoors?
- Do you already have a pet? If yes, what kind of temperament does your existing pet have?
If you already have a pet, please bring them with you when you come to the shelter. Photos of your help will help us advise you on who from our animal family will be a good fit for you.

Most of the animals at AMTM are rescued stray animals who have spent their lives outdoors. However, once at our centre, we try to train them to live indoors. They are familiarised with people and made to feel comfortable in their company. Additionally, all AMTM animals are sterilized and fully vaccinated.
Yes. AMTM is dedicated to the service of stray and abandoned animals which includes all species. However, this is rare.
