Life is better with a furry friend. Come meet our brood
We have hundreds of animals waiting eagerly to find their forever homes. Many of them have been rescued from the streets and each of them is deserving of a loving, caring family they can call their own.
It’s a lot easier to adopt than you think. We promise. And we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Adoption is a commitment
Adopting an animal is not a decision to take lightly. Cats and dogs can live as long as 15 years.
We want to ensure that our animals go to people who will provide them with a clean, safe, family environment, will feed them properly, take care of them when they are sick, and will – above all – love them long time.
Animals you can adopt
Choongooose
Bought to us with a severe maggot wound, she requires admission and care in order to live a normal life. Please donate to help her recover.
Athena
A hit & run victim, we were called by a good samaritan to take her into our care. She has an injury to her left hind leg and needs constant care and rehab to help her walk normally again. Please donate to help her get back on her feet.
Safedilaal
Safedilaal was in an accident where she hurt her leg very badly. She is in terrible pain and is receiving treatment for her injury. Please donate to help us give her the best care.
Kalu Mama
Kalu Mama was found in a dump, barely conscious after being viciously attacked by big dogs. A little girl discovered him and brought him to us for treatment. This 2-month-old has bite marks all over his body and is unable to even stand. Please help Kalu mama by donating towards his treatment and care.
Nemo
Nemo is a 2-month-old puppy with a fractured leg who was abandoned and left to die. This courageous girl is currently receiving treatment at our hospital. Please donate to help her get better. All contributions will be used to fund her treatment and care.
Choosing the right pet
Before you decide to adopt, we recommend you consider a few factors:
- Do you have lots of time to entertain an energetic animal or are you looking for an older, calmer pet?
- Do you have an outdoor space that your pet can explore safely? Or would you prefer an animal that’s comfortable spending time indoors?
- Do you already have a pet? If yes, what kind of temperament does your existing pet have?
If you already have a pet, please bring them with you when you come to the shelter. Photos of your help will help us advise you on who from our animal family will be a good fit for you.

Most of the animals at AMTM are rescued stray animals who have spent their lives outdoors. However, once at our centre, we try to train them to live indoors. They are familiarised with people and made to feel comfortable in their company. Additionally, all AMTM animals are sterilized and fully vaccinated.
Yes. AMTM is dedicated to the service of stray and abandoned animals which includes all species. However, this is rare.
